From ALBATROSS to MOONSTONE

Redesigning, refitting, and relaunching a superyacht is no small feat, especially when it involves a 7.5-metre hull extension. In 2022, the Owners entrusted Damen Yachting with the ambitious transformation of the 72m Delta Marine-built ALBATROSS.

The vision? Create a centralised wellness hub with a sauna, Hammam, gym, massage suite, and pool, complemented by a sleek modern interior. Guided by the trusted partnership between the Owners, Damen Yachting, and designers Harrison Eidsgaard, this two-year project blended new-build expertise with meticulous refit execution.

From re-engineering the yacht’s structure and upgrading technical systems, to redesigning 80% of the interiors with contemporary materials and bespoke craftsmanship, ALBATROSS emerged as a yacht ready to cruise the world in style for decades to come.
