LUNA: One Last Mediterranean Encore

For those who thought the season’s finest charter opportunities had already sailed, one extraordinary yacht has one final chapter to write.
As the Mediterranean begins its graceful transition from the frenetic pace of August to the golden tranquillity of September, one of the world’s most remarkable superyachts has unexpectedly reopened her calendar.
LUNA, the striking 90-metre Oceanco flagship, has completed a fully booked Mediterranean season and is now offering a rare opportunity for charter from 2 September onwards, departing from Nice or cruising the French Riviera, Corsica, Sardinia, the Amalfi Coast and surrounding destinations.
For seasoned charterers, September is often considered the Mediterranean’s best-kept secret. The sea remains warm, the crowds begin to disperse, and coastal towns regain the relaxed sophistication that first made them legendary.
LUNA seems perfectly suited to this quieter, more refined rhythm.
Designed for Absolute Privacy
Built by Dutch shipyard Oceanco and extensively refitted in 2024, LUNA stretches an impressive 90 metres (295 feet), accommodating up to 12 guests across seven luxurious cabins, attended by a professional crew of 30 including the captain.
Yet statistics only tell part of the story.
What truly distinguishes LUNA is the way her design creates genuine privacy. Unlike many large yachts where guests inevitably share spaces, LUNA features a complete owner’s deck, including a private salon and jacuzzi deck positioned away from cameras and neighbouring guests, offering an exceptionally secluded retreat at sea.
Her interiors, created by Nuvolari & Lenard with Valentina Zannier Interiors, seamlessly connect elegant living spaces with expansive outdoor decks, allowing guests to move effortlessly between sun, sea and sophisticated entertaining.
Wellness Meets Adventure
LUNA is equally compelling whether your ideal day involves complete relaxation or active exploration.
Guests can unwind in the dedicated wellness centre featuring a hammam, sauna and massage suite before stepping into the fresh-water swimming pool or relaxing in the expansive beach club. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the fully equipped gym with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea, while those seeking adventure have access to an extensive collection of water toys.
Even practical luxuries haven’t been overlooked. A six-person elevator connects every guest deck, making movement effortless throughout the yacht.
A Rare Opportunity
Following consecutive summer bookings from Dubrovnik to Monaco and then throughout the French Riviera, LUNA becomes available from 2 September, creating what may be the final chance to charter one of the Mediterranean’s standout yachts before the season concludes.
The September charter rate is €1.2 million per week, plus VAT, a 30% Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) and a €100,000 security deposit.
For discerning travellers, however, the value lies not simply in the yacht herself, but in the rarity of availability. Charter calendars at this level are often secured many months, even years, in advance.
Sometimes the most memorable voyages aren’t the ones meticulously planned. They’re the unexpected opportunities that appear just before the season ends.
LUNA’s September opening is precisely that.
